• We are a parish, state, and national non-profit volunteer organization of physicians’ spouses, medical student spouses, and physicians working in alliance with the Louisiana State Medical Society.
• We are physicians’ spouses and physicians working together for better health care for the citizens of our communities.
• We address community health issues such as violence prevention and solutions, child safety, and health needs of the low-income families.
• We support health education in a variety of ways through health fairs; by the distribution of information on health concerns, such as women’s and children’s health, breast cancer awareness, osteoporosis, obesity; and by providing scholarships to health career students.
• We are affiliated with the American Medical Association Alliance and receive the benefits of publications, programs, and leadership training for our members.
